HOW TO copy the slideshow ONLY to a floppy

V

VF

I would like to present my work to potential employers for viewing and of
course I want them to view only the slideshow. I have been able to copy the
entire file. However this displays the title bar, menu bar, the icons and so
on PLUS anyone viewing would also have the ability to make changes (on the
copied file on the floppy).

How do I get JUST the SLIDESHOW onto a floppy? Please help.

Thanx so much,
VF

Change the file extension in My Computer from PPT to PPS. However, keep in
mind that anyone can still make changes if they are smart enough to open
PowerPoint first, then do a "File", "Open". If you want a little better
protection of your file, check out:

Thank you. I will try this now. Hopefully that's all I needed. I happen to
be reading a post from a few months ago and it was recommended to check
Presenter View under the Set-up Slideshow. Mine is greyed out for some
reason.

Thank you again.

Was unable to do this. If this helps I have XP Prof. I went to change and I
did get the dialogue box however at that point there were no clear
instrucitons to change from PPt to PPS. Also I could see that there were 2
PP's. One was already the pps and the other (which I tried to change) was
the ppt. Anything else I might try?

Thanx again,

In Explorer right click on the file, and select rename and change the .ppt
extension to .pps. Or with the presentation open in PowerPoint click on
Save and Save As, and select Slideshow it will put the .pps extension on
your file.
