How to copy web page to word file

Simple question...what steps do I take to copy a web page
to as word file...I have tried (on the web page, SELECT
ALL, COPY, then go to the Microsoft Word program on new
blank page, and hit PASTE...I sometimes get random bits
and pieces of the web page...what do I need to do to get
the whole page (not concerned about photos, just text) ?
