how to correct an accidental change

I changed a field data type from text to number/long
integer. I saved the database. I realized I lost data
and should have changed the field to number/single
instead. Is there a way to revert the database back
(without a backup) to the last previous state? (of course,
I lost the decimal point and digits to the right of it on
a few hundred records, I know, it was dumb to do without
making a backup) any help, I would appreciate, thanks.

Sorry, Aaron. A data recovery expert may or may not be able to help, I can't
say for sure, but short of that, no, there is nothing built-in to Access to
recover the data.
