how to create a customize reports in project server 2007

we need to create a customize status reports weekly on our required format.

I know we can make the customize reports from visual studio and make the RDL
file there and publish those to reporting services .
but the problem is that .
the status reports feature which we can use from project web access it is
not fullfill the requirement of company. and we need to use this feature but
status report format is different . how can we do this . how we can add new
field and customize the existing one.
how can we customize the status reports of project web access.

and also how can i customize the builtin reports of project professional 2007.
