How to create a Salon Database

R

Rick B

What have you done so far?
What items do you need to track?
What do you put on paper now?
Do you want to store and track customer data?
Do you want to create appointments?
Do you lease chairs to stylists? Do you want to do anything with this data?

Too many variables for us to build it for you. Think about what you want to
accomplish and how you do it now. Then let us know some of the specifics
with which you need help.

There may be some appointment database templates out there that will get you
started. You might check out the "Service Call Management" database
template that ships with Access. Basically, you are sceduling service
calls, the customer is just coming into your shop. Obviously you'd need to
heavily modify this template to meet your needs, but I'd bet it will do a
great deal of the underlying structure for you.

Post back if you need specific help.
