How to create a secondary y axis with limited data?

The main chart has lots of data points (>300 )and I want to create a
secondary y axis showing daily mean max min temperatures with only 7 data
points.
The temps do not appear as a data series at all.
Have tried auto fill but of couse you get an angular plot. How do you get it
to recognise the empty cells

What kind of chart is it? What is the structure of the data? Do you also
need a secondary X axis?

Thanks Jon
It's a line chart and I don't need a secondary x axis. The data is in the
usual column format - four data series of > 300 points recording every 30
minutes or so spread over 6 days and two data series with 6 points recording
the max and min temps over the 6 days.
Have done this sort of chart endless times but this time there is a lot more
information from the monitoring points.

Hi Jon - solved the problem - need to interpolate the chart to see the data
series - especially if there is limited data of diferent value, it won't show
up on the bottom of the chart until you interpolate. Thanks anyway.
