How to create a single-pole multi-throw electrical switch?

I am trying to create a schematic symbol for a single pole 4-throw switch. I
tried using the spdt symbol as an example, but it did not work. I'd like to
set it up where it is easy to move the connection between any of the 4
inputs, similar to how the SPDT template works.

Okay, I found it after saving it to my computer and then opening it.
Thank
you very much. But how did you get the switch positions to change? Have
have the physical layout that I want to use, but I can't control the
switch
postions.

You downloaded the stencil of the one shape. Drag the shape on to a
work-space . Select the shape. Right-Click and select which position you
want it to adopt.

To see the technique, select the shape, then Window | Show Shape Sheet.

It did help, sort of. Thanx Paddy. It looks like I just need to muscle my
way through learning the process, as I now need to create a 3-throw switch in
addition to the 4-throw.

Was the single-pole 4-throw what you needed?

Is the 3-throw similar?

You could sketch what you need, scan and email to:
