How to Create Folder List to Print

How do I create a list of documents within a folder that I
can print off?

For example, I have a folder on my desktop that contains
training documents. I want to print out a list of those
documents. I've tried to cut and paste the names into a
Word document; tried ALT+PRINTSCREEN to copy+paste the
info to a Word document (then I got the entire screen, but
not all the document names); tried printing the screen and
on and on.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Jana

Assuming you're on Windows..
Open a DOS window (From the Start menu, select Run, enter CMD, press Enter or click OK)
Browse to the directory for which you want to produce the listing
Type
dir > listing.tx
(you can use any filename
Open the resulting text file in Word
To delete entire columns of text..
Position the cursor in the upper left corner of the text to be deleted
Hold down Alt while you drag the mouse right and down to highlight the rectangle to be deleted, then press Delete
