how to create super script

Hi,

can you help on how to create a super script in a text box?

for example "The quick brown fox /a jump over the lazy dog."

note:
/a description of fox

the /a supposed to be high enough with the sentence on a small letter.

thanks
chad

You can do that in Access 2007, using rich text. (Actually it's HTML.)

Earlier versions don't support rich text, unless you download a special
control such as this one:
http://www.lebans.com/richtext.htm

There are a few limited alternatives, such as using a dagger or superscript
character defined in the font. The CharMap applet may help you to find
those.

Note that when you use a rich text control that a simple phrase like...

This is normal text this is bold

....will be stored in your table as something similar to...

\pard\f0\fs20 This is normal text\cf1\b\f1 this is bold\cf0\b0\f0\par

All queries, searches, filters, etc., will have to deal with the data as it is
stored, not as it appears in the RTF control. Access 2007's rich text (HTML)
also comes with a function that can extract the plain text back out. While not
the most efficient, it can at least solve many problems caused by the extra
formatting tags being stored in the data.
