how to create variable pie charts using mail merge

I have created a mail merge document in word, using data from excel
spreadsheet. I would like to create a pie chart in this document to accompany
the data so the pie chart and info is different from record to record. Can
this be done?

It can be done, but it is not for the feint hearted as you may note from the

I have developed an alternate method, for which I can send you the details

attachments that would be necessary to show you how to do it.
