How to create wrapping paper

I want to use my own image (from a photo) to create some wrapping paper in
Word 2003. I want the picture to repeat all over the paper right up to the
margins. What is the best way to go about laying this out? Although the
photo is quite big, I think, I want to shrink it down so that it's just
about 1". It's actually a picture of my dog in a xmas hat on a white
background so I think it will look quite good on A4 paper.

Hi,

You can use Insert|Picture|From File to find and insert your image.

If you then select the picture and use Format|Picture|Layout|Square, you'll be able to move it anywhere on the page you want. You
can also crop away anything around the edges you don't want. I'd suggest also scaling the picture so that its about, say, 1/8th -
1/10th of the page size. If you then copy the picture and paste it multiple times, you'll have multiple copies that you drag around
the page, overlapping them if you wish.

Cheers
