How to? -- Custom Animation

James

I have a slide which has half a dozen options displayed on it in the form of
text boxes. I'm trying to make it work so that when I advance the
presentation, one of the text boxes changes into a small image of the next
slide ... and then this image expands into a full screen size of the image.

So far I can make the box change into the image (having screen captured the
slide to JPG and used an animation to exit the text box - the JPG being
underneath it). However I can't make the JPG expand to fill the screen. I
can make it expand in situ (with a considerable loss of resolution), and I
can make the JPG move. But how can I make both happen together AND with a
decent resolution? Or is there another way to achieve the same thing - for
instance is it possible to have a separate motion path for each corner of
the image.

I'm using PowerPoint 2002 (SP3).

Hi James,

The trick is to greatly over-scan your image. That si, when you zoom in, it
pixelaltes out horribly. Get the image to fit your slide and look good, then
shrink it!
