Hi David,
Let us consider the following scenario based on your question: You have a visio template in a folder called "C:\David
\MyVisio" and you want to display "MyVisio" along with the default items in the "Category" List.of "Choose Drawing Type"
window.
Following steps would help you to attain the requirement:
1. Start Visio
2. Select Tools - Options - Advanced - File Paths
3. For "Templates", enter the path as "C:\David"; click OK twice and restart Visio.
If you change the name of the folder "MyVisio", that would cause the category name in Visio also to change [after a restart
of Visio].

Hello,
I'm new on thi ng. I have Visio2003 installed, and I never been able to
customize the start-up panel, where there are drawings categories and
templates.
I'll want to insert a blank template from where I start to draw 99% of my
diagrams.
May anyone help me ?
