How to de-activate and install on another computer?

Hi,

My daughter uses the 'education' version of Office and
now we need to purchase a laptop so how do I de-active
and delete Office on the desktop PC so that I can install
it on her laptop?

The short answer is: Leave Office on her desktop and install on her laptop.

Retail versions of Office may be installed concurrently on one desktop and
on one laptop for use by the same user.

Student and Teachers Education version of Office has a more liberal
installation licensing agreement. Go to "Help" in an office application
(Word, Excel), and read the End Users License Agreement for a full
understanding of how many computers you may install Office on.
