How to delete Digital Signature?

I created a couple of digital certificates for Office 2000 apps (Excel
and Word) but I created 1 by mistake (wrong name). I used the
SelfCert program to do this, but I cannot figure out how to delete the
eronous one.

Where are these things saved and how can I delete them?

Please help.

Thanks.

In Word under Tools=>Options=>Security=>[Digital Signatures]
if it's listed select the signature and click the [Remove] button.

My problem is in EXCEL and there you're presented with a list of
available signatures to use - If you choose one from the list it is
assigned and in the following dialog you can remove it again but it
does not take it out of the list of available choices.

The list of available sigs does not have a delete option - I wish it
did then there would not be an issue.

Note that in EXCEL you only have access to digital signatures inside
the VBE via "Tools => Digital Signature..." but no deletion is
possible here.

If these are saved in a file or registry key I could delete all of
them and recreate one proper one ... but where are they stored??
