How to delete "mail merge.." from tools list??

I never use mail merge. But when I enter Word 2000's "tools" menu to go to
"envelopes and labels" which I do use frequenty, there is a HUGE long list of
"mail merge..."s which I have to scroll down in order to get to the envelope
area at the bottom. How in the world do I delete this list? It's just the
words "mail merge..." over and over again.

Atlantagreg,

Have you tried right clicking next to the Icons and Selecting Customise?
Or select Tools > Customise.
You can then customise the individual menus.
