How to delete multiple calendar events

Syncing problems have created multiple instances of calendar events, exploding the overall size of my calendar. Is there a method for deleting multiple items at once? All I have been able to so so far is delete them one by one and for each I have to click in a "confirm delete" dialog box.

Thanks

Creat a custom view displaying the events (all the events if need be).
It's a LOT easier to work in list view. You can then select multiple
events and delete all the duplicates like that.

You might want to take a look at "Spanning Tools for Mac" too,
This set of tools taps into the iCal and address book database (the
system one) and can fix a lot of issues, find duplicates and correct
them all in one pass etc.
Eliminating the duplicates in iCal should extend to Entoruage through
SyncServices and solve your issue.
I don't know if they have a demo mode or not, but I did not hesitate
investing in their app considering all the SyncServices issues I had
myself.
