How to delete text box in excel

Downloaded Profit & Loss templete from Microsoft. In the middle of templete
there is an instruction box. Says to click on border to delete. I've clicked
on everything but can't seem to get option to delete.

Click on the border, then press the delete key on the keyboard?

Make sure that the text box was 'NOT' a 'COMMENT'. Often people will put
instructions in Excel as comments that 'look' like text boxes, but they are
really inserted comments, so try right-clicking on the box and selecting
'delete comment' too! My favorite thing - just right-click always on all
boxes...see what's in there!
