How to deny the editing of the Outline Project Codes

Hi all!
I've a question about grants in PWA2003 and MSP-Professional 2003.
I've got a list of Outline Project Codes in the Enterprise Global...
I've also a group of Project Managers who have to read/write their data
in the projects.
Not enought: i've set the group ADMINS in order to manage the outline
project category.
The question: it is possible to ALLOW the editing of the Outline
Project Code to the ADMIN group and set it up to DENY to the PROJECT
MANAGER group?
TY!!!

The default permissions in Project Server allow members of the
Administrators group to edit the Enterprise Global and do not allow members
of the Project Managers group to edit the Enterprise Global. If someone is
in both groups, they will be able to edit the Enterprise Global. Therefore,
I would recommend that you remove your PM's from the Administrators group,
if that is what you have done. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale.
The PM's group doesn't have to change the Outline code in the
Enterprise Global of course, but also he doesn't have to edit the value
into the field.
Example: if the outline is named "Project Status", the PM has to be
unable to input the project status value in the field ("In Progress",
"on hold" , "closed", for example).
bye

Thanks for the clarification. Now I understand. No, there is no way to set
the permissions to prevent a PM from selecting a value in a custom
enterprise Project outline code. Therefore, you must make this a training
and performance issue with your PM's. Hope this helps.
