How to deploy a VSTO Outlook 2003 Add-in to all users using Exchan

Hi,

I developed a VSTO Outlook 2003 Add-in and I like to know if there is any
possibility to automatically deploy it to users, using Exchange Server 2003.

Thank you

Exchange server has nothing to with it. You can put the installer on a
network share and test for it being installed in a Windows logon script and
if it isn't installed run the installer from the share. If you use some
software deployment roll-out software such as SUS you can use that to run
the installer.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for your answer. I understand that is possible to install an
Outlok add-in via a Windows logon script, but I am wondering if there is a
way to install it when the Outlook clients connect to the Exchange Server.

Outlook COM addins run locally as in-process addins to Outlook and are
registered and installed on the client machine. Exchange has nothing to do
with it. You can't install an Outlook addin when Outlook is running, so
connecting to Exchange or not makes no difference.
