Hello Everyone.

I have created an Access 2000 application that has the .mdb extension using
the MS Access 2000 software. I combined the front-end and the back-end into
one .mdb file. My question is how would I deploy this application to the user
wherein it will be an executable file. Also, the user might not have a
Microsoft Access 2000 software installed into her/his computer.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Answer is you need the developer edtion to install a runtime of Access. Not
possible to turn an MDB into a exe but you install the runtime and use it to
work with the mdb. Finding a 2000 Developer may be difficult but MS does
provide a free one for Access 2007. May require some changes to your
datafile though.

If you combined the front end and back end, then how will your users keep
their old data when you distribute a new version of the application?

And if some users don't have Access, then like the other guys said, the only
way that I know of is the Access Developers Toolkit, or whatever it's called
these days. That allows you to install the runtime version of Access on each
users computer, which doesn't require an Access license. You might be able to
find a 2000 version available if you look on-line.
