how to detect when user clicks the menu bar (ribbon)?

Hi, I want to write a code that a function will be called whenever use
clicks the menu bar (ribbon), how to do that? Thanks

I don't know anything about code, but "clicking the ribbon" isn't a
thing -- you can click on a tab to go to it, or double-click on one to
show/hide the ribbon, or click on an item on the ribbon,
