Is there a way to determine which product key was used to license a

particular install of Office 2004?

Not exactly, but once you have used the same key twice there are ways to
sort it out, short of remove and reinstall.

If you have double-installed on the same key, the product ID (About number)
on the two programs will be the same except for the last 5 digits.
