How to determine which query is running

Hello,
I have to troubleshoot an InfoPath form which has a button on it, the
properties of which are to Run Query. The query is totally messed up and I
need to fix it but I am not that familiar with InfoPath. The form is
connected to an Access database. How do I determine which query this button
is running? Thanks very much for any help.

Hi Joanne,

I am also fairly new to InfoPath but I may be able to help. First
place to check is the button properties to look for a rule. Right
click the button, select Rules, then modify (if one exists) there
should be an action listed to query a database connection. Your form
could have several connections - so it depends on who designed it.
Go to Tools, Data connections - this will show you all connections.
The connections should give you some kind of direction - hope this
helps!

Go to Tools > Data Connections. Select the Main connection for your form and
click on Modify. Then click on Edit SQL.

Thank you so much for your timely response. That cleared things up a lot. I
have one more point of confusion. This person has several connections. How do
I know that this button is using the main connection?

When you click on a data connection in the "Data Connections" dialog box, you
can check in the "Details" section below what the type is of the data
connection. If the form is bound to a database, the Run Query option will use
the data connection of type "Retrieve and submit data to database".
