This is NOT the problem others have reported here. The "enter network
password" prompt is doing exactly what it is supposed to - popping up when
the account is not able to automatically log in. It is only doing it when
there is a temporary internet glitch preventing login. These problems always
correct themselves and next time I try it works just fine. That's when I am
home. When I am away, the prompt sits on the screen, mail stops downloading
from the server, and push email stops sending messages to my cell phone
because none are received, and won't be until I get home to cancel out of
the "enter network password" prompt. If the prompt were simply disabled,
everything would be fine and dandy. The glitch would correct itself and five
minutes later my email would continue downloading and getting pushed from my
desktop to my cell phone. But how to disable this prompt? Is there a way?
Outlook 2007 on XP SP2. Please do not suggest anything related to my push
email - that is not the issue. I just need to disable that prompt.
Thanks.
