I'm trying to help my daughter out .... here's the background:
Vista, Office 2000.
Before today, the company has been using a third party email client.
In the process of attempting to follow instructions for setting up OE as
their email client, she attempted to set up Outlook not realizing the
difference (she now realizes she needed Windows Mail, not OE).
The problem: Outlook is now throwing "Unable to update public free /
busy data. An error occurred while attempting to open the Windows
Address Book. Unable to find the WAB DLL." errors. She closes the pop-up
and continues working; but is unable to "turn off" whatever has been
turned on in Outlook.
She has deleted the email account under Tools | Mail Accounts.
What does she need to do to put Outlook back to sleep?
Thanks in advance!
