How to disable requesting virus scan in word 2002???

Hi

I got a problem for word in Office XP. Wheneven I opend word file it shows "requesting virus scan..." and long waiting time. I want to switch it off.

I installed Norton Antivirus 2002 and I know how to turn "office plug-in" off in Norton Antivirus Options, but it does not work. I uninstall Norton Antirus 2002, the "requesting virus scan..." is still there. I uninstall office xp and reinstall office xp. It works (i.e. requesting virus scan was off) but when I updated to office xp Sp3, it comes back. (updated to office XP Sp2 is no such a problem).

Is there a bug in office xp SP3? How to solve this problem Long time waiting (some time 30 sec) make me mad. No such request in Excel when it is opend. Strange.
