How to disallow editing of textboxes w/out disabling normal text editing

Hi,

Is it possible to 'lock' editing of all sorts (text editing, moving,
resizing, deleting, et al) of textboxes (the sort that reside in shapes)
while -at the same time- allowing users to edit text in normal text area?

I use a userform that inserts text into textboxes ('shapes' objects), and I
want the user to be able to edit contents of these textboxes *only* by
using the userform.

Furthermore, I want them to be able to edit the rest of the document as
they wish.
