how to display margin guides?

Hi
(Word 2002). I used to have some gray coloured guides on my page, in each of
the four corners, that showed where the margins were set in the current doc.
They have disappeared and I can't get them back. They are really useful. Any
idea how to display these again? thanks
MB.

Doug's instructions to display text boundaries will give you the corner
marks you want but also "text boundaries" (dotted lines around the entire
document margin, text boxes, frames, etc.), which you may not want. If all
you want is the corner marks, you can get just those by enabling an Asian
language. See “Margin marks or crop marks appear on each corner of the page
when you open a document in Word 2002 or in Word 2003†at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371 and do the opposite of the
instructions to resolve the "problem."

Thanks Doug.
This is close, is there a way to remove the vertical text boundaries down
the page, I just want the markers in each of the corners. perhaps the
vertical lines were coloured white previously and thats why they were
invisible?

Suzanne, thanks. It makes sense too as I disabled the languages the other
day, it never occured to me the margin guides would relate to that.

My Word 2003 All Programs->Microsoft Office doesn't have a Microsoft Office
Tools option. Any other access to the language selection?
