In an MS Access project (ADP) connected to a MS SQL Server 2000 the
constraint-validation text doesn't appear when the unique index is violated.
In fact no error is displayed at all, and the focus is kept on the actual
field. Unless I change or deleted the record which is violating the unique
index, I can't do anything. That is when I'm in the office. Strangely enough
on my home PC (ADP is saved local, and the connection to the SQL server in
the office is made through VPN) the validation text is triggered correctly.
Both are Access 2003 versions. So the question is: where can I set an option
to enable constrain-validation text or error messages?
