I have been having problems with outlook 2007 and I want to perform a clean
install. my problem unfortunately is that my settings were still there after
I uninstalled the program using the option in the control panel of windows
vista 64bit and then reinstalled it. what must I do to completely remove
the program from my computer?
on another note does anyone know whether or not microsoft office 2007 for
small business is compatible with windows vista 64 bit? dave

Uninstalling never removes your data or Outlook profile settings. Both will
be reused by a new installation. That's why we always tell you to create a
new profile from scratch whenever you attempt to reinstall unless you want
to retain the same settings and problems of your previous installation. You
can then set the new profile to use your previous data.

An uninstall/reinstall rarely cures a problem that Diagnostics doesnt repair
You need to create a new outlook Profile, as your reinstall picks up the old
Profile (which is contained in the registry)

There isnt as yet an Office version specific to 64bit, so yes
