How to do calcualtion with Date MERGEFIELD

I wonder how to do calculation with Date MERGEFIELD. Lets
say I have a {MERGEFIELD SaleDate} and I need to find a
date 11 days prior to the SaleDate.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hi Eric,

If the datasource is Access or Excel, it would be better to do the
calculation there. It's not at all easy to do in Word.
