How to do Chinese Translations

D

Duncan Fowler

In the Windows version of Word there is a provision for getting translations
done. I frequently use it for translating Emails from a Chinese friend by
pasting them into Word 2007.

I would prefer to just use my Mac platform.

Does the 2008 version of Office or Word for Mac have that ability?

Thanks

Yes, it does. Look up "Translate text" in the Help.

Quite right: I believe it IS WorldLingo. Your Office 2008 purchase price
includes a paid subscription to it.

I assume this feature uses one of the standard online translation
services, like WorldLingo. There are lots of others, some of which
may offer better results. I like Google Translate best myself.
