how to down load ActiveX control to update office 2003

I just installed office 2003 and tried to get updates. I get a message to
install ActiveX control but the blue bar does not cone up and I tried the
remedies taht are show and still can't get it to load

Just a suggestion, but you may have a look at this article:

You could try the methods described. As stated in method 4, check your
machine for the opuc.dll file.
If you use any of the methods you should restart your machine before
revisiting the Office update site.
