how to drag shapes for from file to another

I created one organization chart in visio 2002. I would like copy and paste
that org chart in visio 2003. Which I did. Now when I try to update any of
the pages with new shapes, it will not let me drag and drop a shape or
connect a shape to the boxes.

What am I doing wrong.

AFAIK the orgchart function changed between v2002 and v2003, the objects
call different modules.
