how to draw a sin or cos curve

I want to draw a precies sine or cosine cureve (comes in vibration and sound
theory). I suppose I should use the curve command, but how can I draw a
precise one. I know that if I can create one/forth preecisely, then I can use
mirror copy and inverse copy to produce the total wave curve, but the point
is how to make the one/forth precise.
