How to edit a locked Access Database

In my company we have an access database application. This application
(MDE file) when opened, starts up in full screen mode. If you double
click on the title bar, it does restore it, exposing access behind it
but with very few active menu items.

First of all, I need to change the logo on that first screen.

Secondly I need to change some data in the database.

The database has been split from the mde file and placed into a
seperate folder.

The second point of editing the data (I think) should be possible by
just opening the mdb file and editing what ever data is required to
change.

My problem is with the logo on the front screen. If I open the
application and press ALT+F11 to pull up the VBA Editor I can see a
whole collection of modules and forms in the project explorer, but when
I click on any of them, I get: "Project is unviewable"

I don't know enough about access to figure this out. I opened access
and created a small test database and the and then created a MDE file
using the tools menu. Everything remains editable when I look at the
code though. Has this thing been locked with a password? If so, how do
I unlock it?

Any help would be apreciated.

The origional developer(s) have since moved on the a better place. Hell
they may even be dead for all I know.

An MDE is tokenized and compiled. It is impossible to edit any forms,
reports, or code within one.

In other words, you need to find the MDB that was used to create the MDE,
make the desired changes in the MDB and then create a new MDE from it.
