how to edit an imported in word

[Edit an imported doc from Excel to Word]

I have imported an excel document which I no longer have and need to edit it,
as it shows as a picture in Word it seems that it does not allow me to do so,
please can you help me!

If you have inserted the excel sheet as a picture, which appears to be the
case, it is no longer an excel worksheet sheet but a graphic. Neither Word
nor Excel have the ability to convert graphics to tables - for that you
would need to extract the image

attempt a conversion to a table. Any calculations that pre-existed in the
original worksheet would of course be lost.
