Is there an easy way to edit multiple contacts, i.e.
changing the address for 50 contacts at a certain company?

Hello Sean,

export these address to Excel, change the company name with copy/paste and
reimport the contacts into the contact folder.

I think there is no "easy" way to select 50 contacts and change the name in
"one step".
