how to eliminate the WBS code in the column entry

Hello,
I have a cloumn isterted as "name" call is task entry.
There is WBS coding is preset next to my entry and
therefore I cannot remove it and I believ because of this
I cannot remove or indent my directory
Would you please advise

If I understand correctly what you have, just go to the Tools Options menu,
View page and turn off the checkbox next to "Show Outline Number" at the
bottom of the page/
