How to ELIMINATE unknown programme insistant on accessing my addre

I'm on Windows XP and for about a month now when I'm in Outlook I keep
getting notification from an unknown programme wanting to access my address
book.
The buttons offered are YES or NO and HELP.
The HELP advises NO -as it may be a virus.
HOW CAN I ELIMINATE THIS INSISTANT PROGRAMME?

Most likely it's triggered by an add-in (antivirus for an example). Many of
these add-ins have been updated to get around the security prompts. See if
