How to enable Network Diagram manual box positioning?

In some, but not all of my Project files, when I am in the Network Diagram
view, Layout Now.. is disabled, and when I open Format, Layout, manual box
positioning is disabled. How can I enable it?
(Project 2007)

Never mind - I figured it out. Grouping was set. When I changed it to "No
Group", it works.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I don't know of a setting. Have you got SP1 installed? What is different
about Projects that work and those that don't?
