How to enable spellcheck on a protected document?

I have created severel forms for our department to fill out on Office 2007,
when the protection is enabled on the document the spellcheck is disabled.
How do you
enable the spellcheck? I seen the same question asked and a website was given
to copy and paste a macro. I don't know what a macro is or how it is used.
There also was a site for "Idiots guide to installing macros" in which I also
read. I still don't understand. I did attempt to copy and paste to the
"macro" but didn't seem to work. Please help with a details.
