If you are referring to a mathematical expression, use the equation editor
(found on the Insert tab of the ribbon).

If you just want subscript formatting, use the Font dialog box (Ctrl+D).

Hi Stefan,
I want to enclose the following equation data n/2**j with a lower
boundary character pair without complex math equation system.

0 <= i <= low_boundary(n/2**j)

I couldn't find what I want following your instruction.

Weng
