how to export ERD to data dictionary

Hi,

I am using Visio 2003 pro, and i've been looking up the net for days to
find out how to export my data fields/types... etc to a data dictionary
in excel format or any other format that is supported by visio 2003
pro. I've tried under the tools menu 'report...' and 'export to
database', but it's exporting the information of the vsd file rather
than giving me what i need.

any help is very much appreciated..... John

It tickled a brain cell of something I saw while looking at ORM:

It might output something you can use to populate a data dictionary.

If you are talking about the Database Modelling, then you need Visio
Enterprise Architect (part of Visual Studio EA) to export data dictionary.
