How to Export Query Results to Excel ??

I would like to export query results to Excel, but cannot find an option to do this easily. I am a neophite at this and think that surely there is an easy way to do this that I'm not finding.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can select the query, and use File, Save As - and then choose file of
type - Excel. You can also use Tools, Office Links, Analyze with Excel.

Joan,

Thanks for your reply. The only options in the dialog box
when selecting "Save As" within my query
is "Query", "Form" or "Report"

I am using Access 2000

File, Save As/Export
The Save As dialog opens with two choices:
'To an External File or Database'
'Within the Current Database as'

You choose the first, and click OK.
In the next dialog, at the bottom is 'Save as type'. Click the drop-down
and choose Excel. Enter a File name, and click Export.

Alternative:

Select the query, Tools, Office Links, Analyze in Excel.
