How to export???

Hello,
i want to know how to export the calendering from Outlook 97 on Windows 98
to Outlook XP on Windows XP.

I tried the export filter to *.pst. But i was not able to import them. There
is a errormessage like "This is not a *.pst file". But it is definitly a
*.pst-File.

Is the file writeable? PSTs can't be read-only to be opened/imported.
