How to exprort notes from database properties to word or excel

I have a database diagram I need to review with a client via email, but they
don't have Visio. I can capture the diagram in a jpg file, but I need to
send the notes for all the table columns. How can I copy/paste or export
the column names and notes for each column to word or excel? I'm using
Visio 2003 enterprise edition.
