How to fetch footnote reference with custom mark

Hi:
I need to parse Word document which has a footnote reference with custom
mark (ex. "Symbol" character code 70). When I fetch this particular footnote,
its "Reference.Font" property shows the defult "New Time Roman". How can I
retrieve the correct custom mark reference? Thanks.
