How to filter project data via Map

I am trying to download project data via ODBC data source (Oracl
Database). I was prompted to use a map to map the table columns t
project columns. I would like to be able to filter out unwante
projects by passing some parameters. However, I don't seem to see suc
option available on the map definition screen. Is there a way to d
this via VBA? Or, is it possible to get MS Project to run a SQL agains
the Oracle database?
